You must design the boat oars correctly How important do you suppose wheels are for your vehicles? May be it sounds an odd question like this but if you try to conjunct it with the importance of oars for boats then it makes proper sense. Like it is not possible to drive a vehicle, let alone drive it correctly, in the same manner, it is seemingly impossible to boat without proper boat oars. This is perhaps the most common mistake that people make when building or designing their own boats; they fail to pay importance to design the oars. In fact, when you are building a boat, the first thing that you should keep in mind is to build fitting oars that go with it. There is no point having a perfectly good looking boat that is not functional because it has no oars. There are different types of oars and when you have already designed or are planning to design an entire boat, building oars should be an easy job. The most easily built boat oars are the square ones. In addition to being easy to build, square oars can be easily managed as well. They can be balanced effectively and don’t usually roll on to the wale. Talking of materials, primarily, there are just four items that are required to make oars: leather, wood, varnish, and glue. It is advisable to buy just one board of wood that is big enough for both (or more in case you want to keep some extra) oars. Pretty obviously, you need glue that is well effective under water. The oars should not be put under water until the glue has been applied for at least 12 hours. Another thing of note here is that you need to have some space in your hull to rest your boat oars. So keep that in mind when designing your boat.
